Stage 1. Usability Audit

Initiated the project with a comprehensive usability audit of Warranty Smart Indonesia's existing app. This audit involved heuristic evaluation, user interviews, and performance analytics to identify key friction points in the user experience. The audit highlighted areas requiring significant improvement, particularly in the app's navigation system, policy management features, and claims submission process.

Stage 2. Design Strategy

Formulated a redesign strategy aimed at simplifying the user flow, enhancing data visualization for policy tracking, and introducing new features to streamline the claims process. Developed a detailed design roadmap that categorized changes into short-term fixes and long-term enhancements, ensuring a structured approach to the redesign efforts.

Stage 3. Prototype Development

Wireframing: Redesigned core app screens and user flows to address the findings from the usability audit. Focused on creating a more intuitive and efficient user journey, reducing cognitive load, and enhancing overall usability.

High-Fidelity Prototyping: Utilized Adobe XD to develop high-fidelity prototypes that brought the new design to life. These prototypes featured a professional aesthetic aligned with the needs of insurance policyholders, highlighting the app's enhanced functionality and ease of use.

User Interface Design: Revamped the app's visual identity, incorporating a clean and modern design that aligns with the brand's professional image. Carefully selected typography and iconography to ensure that the interface is both visually appealing and functional, catering to the diverse needs of insurance and warranty customers.

Stage 4. User Feedback & Refinement

Conducted user testing with a diverse group of app users, including policyholders and claimants, to gather feedback on the redesign. This phase was crucial in identifying any unforeseen usability issues and validating the effectiveness of the new design elements. Iterative refinements were made based on this feedback, fine-tuning the app's interface to maximize user satisfaction and engagement.

Stage 5. Implementation & Launch Support

Worked closely with the development team to ensure a seamless transition from design to implementation. Provided ongoing support and guidance during the development phase, addressing any design-related challenges that arose. Played a pivotal role in the app's successful relaunch, closely monitoring user feedback and engagement post-launch to guide future updates.
